Ordnance model; Gun model

Scale: 1:8. Model of an eight-inch gun on its carriage. Both the gun and carriage are largely constructed in a dark stained wood, and include various fittings, such as eye bolts and trunnion clamps for working the gun with its tackles. At the front of the carriage, a pair of circular wheels are fitted inside the body, whilst at the rear is a raised wooden skid with a movable metal fitting for the operation of a lifting bar, which would be used for traversing or moving the gun from side to side.
