Scale: Unknown. Breech loading gun with side breech loading mechanism. Aperture in rear of gun for loading shell. Gun inscribed "Patents applied in United States, England, France, Russia, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Sweden and Spain. Invented by Nathan Thompson Marine Engineer New York USA." Brass trucks, decorative mahogany carriage with box wood ebony and satin wood stringing and fan motifs on carriage sides.
