Ordnance model; Gun model

Scale: Unknown. Model of a breech-loading swivel gun. The gun is cast and turned in brass, with the swivel made of iron. The breech-loading mechanism is made of iron and is operated by a series of teeth on the breech block. The breech block itself is a cube shape and is complete with a touch hole on the top surface. The swivel mount has been cast in iron and allows elevation up and down as well as traversing the gun from side-to-side, although the traversing mechanism is now jammed.
