Emden (1916)
Scale: Unknown. Model of a gun turret with two guns on a circular mounting made entirely in wood. The guns can be elevated and pivoted as well as rotated on its mounting. The model appears to be incomplete as there are provisions for two breech loading mechanisms and a shell delivery system. There are two shell racks, one located between the gun barrels, the other aft of the pivoting mechanism. The turret has no canopy and the mounting is uncovered exposing the support frame and rotating mechanism. The model is mounted on a square plywood baseboard.
