Equipment model; Gun model

Scale: about 1:6. Model of a muzzle loading gun on a gun carriage fitted to move using a geared mechanism, made entirely in wood with metal fittings. The gun is carved from two pieces of wood and has a tompion. The carriage has stepped sides and wooden trucks held on the axles with wooden pins. Fitted to the axles inside the trucks are four wooden gear wheels that connect with four large gears mounted to the sides of the carriage. The two large gears on either side of the carriage are covered by two wooden plates held in position by wooden clips (the left side is missing).
