Scale: 1:8. Model of a 24 pounder gun on a sea service carriage mounted on a section of gun deck and made in wood with metal and organic material fittings and painted in realistic colours. The deck section has been made in separate parts and scored to resemble planking. There are four ring bolts attached to the deck and provisioned for two more. The whole section shows all the main and filling frames, internal and external planking, main wale, gun port and lid. The lid can be opened and retained in position by two ropes.
