Ordnance model; Gun model
Scale: 1:8. Working model of a quick-firing naval gun (circa 1896), with naval mounting. The model is constructed from steel and lacquered brass. The barrel is a natural black colour with rust marks and the gun has several working parts including the breech loading mechanism, the gun sight and the method of elevation. The whole gun turns through 360 degrees on its conical mounting.
