Ordnance model; Gun model
Scale: circa 1:16. Working model of a field gun (1910), on a two carriage. The gun, carriage, axle and stubs are made in brass while the wheels are carved in wood and have a steel shoe around the circumference . Working parts include the breech loading mechanism and the toothed elevation fitting on the left hand side. The whole model is displayed in a modern wood and glass display case which is inscribed with "W88-21.10" and "Phipps Hornby".
