Drawing instruments
A leather covered case containing drawing instruments belonging to Admiral of the Fleet Sir John Rushworth Jellicoe (1859-1935). Faded leather covered box lined with blue silk and velvet. Uninscribed plaque on lid. Contains two compasses, two drawing pens and file. Two instruments missing. On a paper inside ' Property of the late Admiral of the Fleet, Earl Jellicoe. Presented by Countess Jellicoe through the Admiralty. To be transferred with uniform to any ship bearing the name Iron Duke'.
