Passenger vessel; Canoe, Outrigger
Scale: Unknown. A model of a Polynesian outrigger canoe made from two pieces of wood that have been glued together along the waterline using either gum or resin. The upper part of the hull has been carved with a geometric design. The outrigger float and booms have been lashed together and are connected to the hull using natural rope or hemp. One end of the float has been carved to a blunt point and blackened. The two outrigger booms have been braced with a lashed wooden pole.
