Binoculars
Prismatic binoculars with a leatherette-covered alloy body and plastic objective lens covers. There is a central focussing wheel and the right-hand eyepiece also focusses independently. The binoculars are contained in a leather carrying case, of which the carrying strap is now missing. The maker's name is inscribed on the body. The bincoulars formerly belonged to Mr Victor Brooks, a purser with the New Zealand Shipping Co and Port Line 1941-1972. He then worked for Cunard until his retirement in 1979.
