Ten Men
Scale: circa 1:6. Ethnographic boat model of the 'Ten men', a Maltese dghaisa, used as a water taxi in the Grand Harbour. Hull carved from solid piece of wood. "Ten Men" painted on back rest and number "217" on sternpost. Decorated in traditional colours and designs, with Maltese flag. Equipped with seats and two oars. Two thole pins on port side and one on starboard.
