Fishing vessel; Castropol Boat

Scale: about 1:19. A model of a castropol fishing boat made entirely in wood. The hull is carvel built and shallow draught with a prominent keel. The hull is painted matt white below the waterline and gloss black above. The frames of the boat have been depicted on the inside of the hull and the inside hull is painted gloss dark green throughout. On port broadside is "7". The model is displayed on a pair of black painted crutches joined by a single piece of dowel. On a hand painted metal label is "Castropol Fishing Boat BY LORD JOHN HAY."
