Fishing vessel; Santander boat
Scale: 1:16. A model of a Santander fishing boat, used on the northern coast of Spain, made entirely in wood. The hull is carvel built, shallow draught, double ended, and has a prominent keel. The exterior hull is painted matt white below the waterline and gloss black above. The frames, thwarts, and bottom boards have been depicted and the interior of the vessel has been painted dark gloss green throughout. On a metal hand-painted label is "Santander fishing boat. (3/4" scale) By Lord John Hay.".
