Fishing vessel; pirogue; Kolek lichung

Scale: Unknown. Model of a Malay kolek lichung made entirely of wood and painted in realistic colours with metal fittings. The model is lug-rigged with cotton sails. The hull is painted green below the waterline and white above. The hull shape is double ended with a very high prow and a stern which has been decoratively shaped and painted white. The stern has decoratively carved quarter planks painted in white, blue, and red. The white rectangular seat has a removable green painted and decoratively carved support for the steering oar. A single davit painted green is rigged to the starboard hull amidships. There is provision for two masts, the foremast being located in the single thwart at the bow. The deck is removable and consists of ten planks. The model is equipped with a mainsail, foresail, steering oar, two boat hooks, rudder, masts, and spars.
