Passenger vessel; launch, Santander
Scale: about 1:19. Model of a Santander launch made entirely in wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted matt white below the waterline and gloss black above. The interior of the hull has been painted a uniform dark green. The hull shape is double ended with a pronounced keel and a rubbing strake runs along the entire length of the hull. The floor of the model has longitudinal planking of varying widths. The model is equipped with eight thwarts painted dark green. The model is displayed on a pair of green painted crutches attached to a long rectangular wooden baseboard which is also painted green. The baseboard sits on four wooden bun feet. On the underside of the baseboard on a paper label is 'G' twice and also '12'. On two paper labels applied to the upper surface of the baseboard is '3' and '11'.
