Brocade
Fragment of expensive French silk brocade, - pink with leaves and flowers in green, white and brown. Hand-sewn seam at quarter of width, and another uneven tear across the centre has been sewn with a seam. Tacks still in place along seam. Said to be part of the prize from a captured French Privateer, 'Montgomery'.
