Napkin
Nelson commemorative damask linen napkin. At the centre of the napkin is a foul anchor with the inscription Nelson/21st October – 1805/Trafalgar surrounded by rays and surmounted by a naval crown. Below it is a palm with the scrolling inscription Palmam Qui Meruit Ferat. The ground is sprigged with flaming bombs and in the four corners are the Order of the Bath and the Order of the Crescent. This is part of a complete linen service that was woven by I.W.W. Coulson in Lisburn Ireland. There is a laundry mark on the napkin: Beaumont House/24/1813. Set: TXT0154 - TXT0170.
