Bowl-Copper, black lubber line, weighted at base and set in lockable gimbals.
Card-Mica covered with paper. black with white markings graduated to 1/2 points. Decorated North and East points. Dia. 5" (12.8cm)
Needle-Flat bar type pierced at centre to accommodate jeweled pivot cap. Cross bar, needle has balancing weights. Length 4.75" (12.1cm)
Pivot-Steel spike in brass mount secured to base of bowl.
Binnacle-Box type with two compartments, one houses bowl and the other is divided into upper and lower compartments. Upper to hold lamp and the lower to hold lamp spares. Has brass covered vent at top. Dims. 13.5 (34.3cm) x 8.5" (21.5cm)
