Hughes worm gearing for operating the correcting magnets of binnacles. Thhis is only part of the binnacle, the outer woodwork being removed so as to show the esential features, which consists of worm gearing and bevel wheels operated by a handle, for raising and lowering the horizontal and vertical magnets.
