Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1795-1812
Commander's full dress coat. Nine buttons on each lapel and three on cuffs. One stripe of gold lace on cuffs only (should be two). Buttons on sides of collar. Flat top to slash frame which goes all round the sleeve slash. Holes for epaulette on left shoulder only. No buttonholes on rear vent.
