Bowl: Brass. Glazed. Has fill hole on side. Azimuth circle. Heavily weighted at bottom with brass screw tripod fitting. White on inside with black lubber spike.
Card: Mica, white with black markings graduated to 360 degrees and to 16 points. Black dome at centre.
Needle: Unsighted.
Pivot: Unsighted.
Azimuth Circle: Front sight, hinged open arch and thread, has hinged jet reflector. Back sight, fixed prismatic with spirit level and two filters.
