Walking stick
A walking stick with a brass band near the end, the metal head contains a compartment with a swivel cover secured by a screw. The stick is carved in relief with an elephant, a lizard, a hawk, a dog, several fish, a jug, two oars, an anchor, snakes, knife, net mender, fish hook, an adze, a glove and a small sailing craft. The initials 'G H W S M' are carved near the head and 'WH' very small half way down.
