Bowl: Brass painted grey. Has four expansion chambers on exterior wall. Glazed. Set in double gimbals. Glass bottom. White on inside with black lubber spike.
Card: Mica. White with black markings graduated 0 - 360 in degrees, 0 - 90 quadrantally and to 16 points. Black dome float at centre. Diameter 4.25" (10.9 cm)
Needle: Two tubes holding needles slung beneath the card.
Pivot: Unsighted.
