Non-regulation helmet
Steel helmet belonging to Edward Napier Green (b. 1903), Acting Temporary Commander RN. Both this helmet and the gas mask (UNI1203) are examples of protective clothing that were issued to civilians, such as Air Raid Wardens, and those serving on a land base.
