Boat's liquid compass

Bowl: A brass bowl with heavy weight at base. Fill hole on one side and corrugated bottom of the West type. Set in gimbals. White on inside with black lubber line.

Card: A mica card painted white with black markings graduated to quarter points. Diameter approx 4" (10.2 cm)

Needle: Unsighted.

Pivot: Unsighted.

Binnacle: Domed binnacle 8.75" (22.2 cm) high with handle at top and flange at base. Diam 8" (20.3 cm). The glazed front panel is hinged at the bottom and oil lamp and housing is on the side.
