Compass binnacle - submarine
Binnacle for submarine bridge compass. description from k/b visit.
A brass and mahogany binnacle with removable hood and fixed athwartship arms, only one holding a corrector ball. The hood has two windows, one missing, and a handle at the top. Illumination is by electric lamp with a socket on the side of the binnacle. Access to the bulb and to the correcting magnets is by a sliding door at the front. There are three bolt holes on the bottom.
This binnacle is in a bad state of repair.
