Cap badge, Clan Line
Black wool cap badge of the shipping company Clan Line over a core. Central, oval reserve of black velvet with gold coil border. Within the oval there is a rampant lion in silver purl with black and red silk thread work. Laurel leaves of gold purl with stems of gold coil surround the oval. The gold plate branches are bound at the base with gold purl.
The badge is backed with a wool blend fabric and then covered with black paper.
