Bowl: Black painted brass, filler plug at side, expansion chamber at base. Inside of bowl painted white with two black painted lubber lines 90degrees apart. Mounted in black painted brass gimbal ring 6.75" (17.2cm) dia in a crude wooden box 8.5" x 8.5" x 5.6" (21.6 x 21.6 x 14.2cm).
Card:4.0" (10.2cm) mica card painted white, with black markings graduated to 1/4 pointsand to 360 degress, attached high domed black float at centre.
