Liquid compass
Bowl: Black painted white metal, filler plug on side and expansion chamber fitted to base. Mounted in a brass gimbal ring which is attached at the two pivot points to metal brackets. Inside of bowl painted white, lubber line extends from verge glass to base of bowl.
Card: White painted mica? ring with black markings, graduated to points and to 360 degrees on inner side of ring, attached to float by a metal frame.
Needle: Two magnetic needles attached to card by the metal frame mentioned above.
Pivot: Unsighted, assumed to be of inverted pivot type.
