Liquid compass
Bowl: Black painted white metal, fillper plug on side, no expansion chamber is fitted. Base of bowl fitted with plunger and clamp for adjusting error mounted above card. Mounted in a brass gimbal ring hich is attached at the two pivot points to metal brackets. Inside of bowl unsighted lubber line extends downwrads from verge glass, the verge ring is also engraved with a lubber line.
Card: Yellow mica (?) card with black markings graduated to 360 degrees. Card fitted with a moveable arrow which is operated by the plunger working through the base of the bowl.
Needle: Unsighted
Pivot: Unsighted and of an unknown type.
On ACO stand. Diameter 5.25" (13.3cm) O.A. Height 6.0" (15.2cm)
