Penknife box

A sailor-made penknife box, carved from a single piece of wood. The sides are carved in a diamond pattern with a flying fish on the base. The sliding lid is carved with the initials 'I B' with an arrow between the two letters pointing downwards to a heart inscribed 'E L'.
