Button, Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1901

Twenty-two buttons from a set of twenty-four (two buttons are unaccounted for). Rope twist edge. Within a raised circular border on a smooth background is a post-1901 crown above a fouled anchor with the rope coming over the right-hand side of the stock, going under the shank to the left and then over the shank to the right finish under the right arm. Below the anchor are two crossed branches of leaves which circle around the inner edge of the raised border to the crown. Flag officers.
