Black silk cap ribbon with name "R.M.S. MAURETANIA" woven in gold metal thread (gold plate wrapped around a yellow silk core). "R.M.S. MAURETANIA" is flanked by the Union Flag to left and the USA national flag to right, their hoists towards the name of the vessel. Both flags are woven with silk thread work.
