Aircraft pelorus
Frame: Grey painted alloy, with mounting bracket. Carries an alloy circle, graduated to 360 degrees, whcih can be rotated and set to course steered. Two lubber lines are engraved on frame 180 degrees apart, at centre of plate, attached to a cross member, is a boss on which bearing arm rotates.
Sight vanes: Mounted on bearing arm which is a light framework carrying three horizontal parallel wires, to act as a drift indicator. Two hinged sight vanes, one carrying a slot and the other a sighting wire. Both 3.75" (9.5cm).
On ACO stand (wooden) Dimensions 5.75" x 3.5" x 5.5" ( 14.6 x 8.9 x 14.0cm)
