Aircraft pelorus
Frame: Black painted alloy, with mounting arm but no bracket. Carries an alloy circle, graduated to 360 degrees, which can be rotated and set to course steered. Two lubber lines are engraved on frame, 180 degrees apart. At centre of plate attached to cross member is a boss on which bearing arm rotates.
Sight vanes: Mounted on bearing arm which is a light framework carrying three horizontal parallel wires, to act as a rough drift indicator. One hinged sight vane provided. Sight vane is broken off above hinged mounting and is missing.
