Royal Naval College Osborne uniform: pattern 1891
Round jacket of a cadet, Royal Naval College, Osborne. It belonged to R. J. P. Eden who died at the college on 13 October 1909 after two terms. Navy blue doeskin single breasted with seven buttons. three notched holes of black twist on each cuff with seven buttons to correspond. A stand up collar with a hook and eye and on each side a button hole of white twist with a corresponding buttons. Two pockets without flaps on either side of the coat, and one left inside. Printed in sleeve 'R. J. P. Eden'.
