Model course setting device
A model of a proposed arrangement to enable an observer in an aircraft to set the grid ring of the pilot's compass and so control the course of the machine. Consists of an aluminium disc, diameter 8" (20.3cm) graduated 0-180 degs through E-W. Attached to a brass spindle which is secured to a brass frame which operates in a sliding frame, which in turn is secured to a wooden base.
