Bowl- Brass with white metal bottom. Engraved to eight points and quadrantally in degrees on inner scale and to 360 degs on outer scale. Heavy floral engraving on 4 cardinal points. Glazed. Brass cover.
Needle- Arow-shaped with brass pivot at centre. Length 3.0" (7.6cm0
Pivot- Steel spike
Arc- Semi-circle with two rows of graduations. Two moveable arms which are attached to compass bowl; each have a vernier. Diameter of arc at limit 8.5" (21.6cm)
