Binnacle
Binnacle for picket boat compass of varnished wood. Base of binnacle is provided with rack to accommodate corrector magents, and has provision for the mounting of two oil lamps at side (only one present). Provided with a heavy brass flange at top, to which gimbal ring could be attached. A domed brass hood, with oval glazing and handle at top is present.
