Liquid compass
Bowl- Brass, painted black, filler plug and expansion chamber at base. Inside of bowl white with two black wire lubber lines. Verge glass has a glass disc at centre to accommodate an azimuth circle. Verge ring graduated to 360 degs. attached to bowl 30 degs out of alignment. Mounted in brass gimbal ring.
Card- Diameter 5.1" (13cm) Metal (?) painted white with black markings graduated to 360 degs. has large white float dome at centre.
