Bearing Plate
A heavy brass ring with a fixed diameter. The ring is graduated both in degrees, quadrantally, and to1/4 points. The edge is marked to points. The sights are attached to a moving diameter. The back sight consists of a plate with a slit and the fore sight an open arch and wire.
