Bowl: Dia 11.4" 929.0 cm) Grey painted brass, filler plug at side, expansion chamber at base incorporated with glazed bottom. Inside of bowl painted white with two black lubber lines painted on white brackets attached to side. Mounted in grey painted brass gimbal ring 13.0" (33.0 cm) dia.
Card: Dia 8.25" (21.0 cm) White painted mica? with black markings, graduated to 1/4 points and quadrantally in degrees. Attached to a black float at centre.
Needle: Unsighted.
Pivot: Unsighted.
Binnacle: Dia 14.5" (37.0 cm) Octagonal wooden binnacle with brass fittings. Two wooden covers give access to the fore-and-aft and athwartship corrector magnet racks, there is a single large vertical magnet on a chain. Fitted with 'Flinders Bar' 12.25" (31.0 cm) long. Quadrantal correctors are athwartship tubes 6.0" (15.1 cm) long, 3.0" (7.6 cm) diameter.
