Cap badge, Indian Customs?
Cap badge. It is possible that this cap badge is an Indian Customs cap badge as the motif at the top could depict the emblem of India, adopted in 1950 and adapted from the Lion Capital of Ashoka at Sarnath. Only three lions are visible as the fourth is hidden from view.
