Liquid compass

Liquid compass.

Bowl: Black painted metal with domed glass. There is a filler hole at side, expansion chamber at the bottom and a glass at base to allow for illumination. There is an inner bowl set in gimbals. The bowl is black inside with black lubber lines set on white struts spaced 90 degrees apart.

Card: White plastic band with black markings graduated to four cardinal points and 0 - 360 degrees. There is a large float at the centre.

Needle: Unsighted.

Pivot: Unsighted.
