Arm badge. When combined with the badge with two crossed torpedoes it can signify a Petty Officer Wireman (Cable Jointing) or a Leading Wireman (Cable Jointing) when used with the applicable crowns and stars which denote the rank.
When combined with the badge with a single torpedo it signifies a Wireman (Cable Jointing).
Separate letter badges were used between 1939 - 1949.
