Bowl: Grey painted brass, filler plug at side, expansion chamber at base. Inside of bowl grey with two lubber lines painted on white strips on side. Mounted in gimbal ring 6.26" (16 cm) diameter.

Card: Diameter 3.9" (10.0 cm) Metal? White with black markings, graduated to 360 degrees and to 8 points, attached to silvered float at centre.

Needle: Unsighted

Pivot: Unsighted
