Bearing plate
Bowl: Black plastic, electric light fitting at base, glazed top. Mounted in black plastic gimbal ring 10.4" (26.5 cm) diameter which is carried in a black plastic U shaped bracket with mounting plate. Four lubber lines engraved on verge ring.
Card: Diameter 7.9" (20 cm) plastic, black with a white ring having black marking graduated to 360 degrees with a second set of graduations 180 degrees out of phase. The card is turned by a T handle mounted at centre of verge glass and is clamped by a knurled knob.
