Liquid overhead compass - aircraft. Attached to a wooden board with ACO0581.
Bowl: Brass painted black. Verge has a moveable, in azimuth, course indicator painted red. Set in overhead gimbals. Filler plug on side. Liquid highly discoloured making it impossible to see inside of bowl or card.
Card: Unsighted. Said to be graduated to 360 degrees with every 5 degrees being shown. N & S are shown by red and blue respectively and E & W by black points.
Needle: Unsighted.
Pivot: Unsighted.
