Dry card compass and binnacle

A metal pivot is marked ACO0614.1 and can be found via the Whole/Part toggle.
Bowl- Dia. 11.4" (29cm) Black painted brass, glazed bottom. A white painted conical balancing weight is carried below bowl on a white painted brass framework. Verge glass has a brass stud at centre. Inside of bowl painted white with four black lubber lines painted on side. Mounted in a black painted brass gimbal ring 12.6" (32cm) dia. attached by spring suspension to binnacle.Card- Dia. 9.5" (24.2cm) "Kelvin Light Dry" type, graduated to 1/4 points and to 360 degs.
Binnacle-"Kelvin" type. Wood with brass top. Fitted with clinometer, Flinders Bra 25" (63.5cm) long, two brass oil lamp brackets (lamps missing), two brass ring bolts, and two large tubular quadrantal correctors (containing tubular piping).
